Reading of Heavyhead at the Jersey City Arts Center

There will be a reading of one of my current musicals Heavyhead at the Jersey City Arts Center on June 22, 2023. Heavyhead is a contemporary feminist retelling of the Medusa myth. It takes places in 1990’s LA during the rise of the female indie singer/songwriter facing off against a female legend from the previous generation against the backdrop of the male dominated music business and all the ingrained misogyny, harassment – and worse – that went with it.
