More exciting news about Crossing Over, my Amish Hip Hop Musical written with Deborah Brevoort: It has been selected for ASCAP’s inaugural New Musical Theatre Festival at the Lied Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Over 100 musicals were submitted and three were chosen. We are so honored that Crossing Over is among the three! The festival will take place from September 10-12. We will send you notices when we are there.

None of this would have been possible if it wasn’t for YOU. The support many of you gave us through USA Artists to record our score was the determining factor in Crossing Over being chosen for this prestigious festival. Thank you all, once again, from the bottom of our hearts! Additionally, I heard that USA Artists sent out this piece of news to their distribution list wishing us best of luck, etc. Many thanks to them for doing this! 🙂

 

USA Projects Artists Deborah Brevoort and Stephanie Salzman collaborated on the successfully funded, Crossing Over, in the fall of last year. The Amish Hip Hop Musical has just been selected for The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers’ inaugural New Musical Theatre Festival at the Lied Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was just one of three selected, with over 100 musicals submitted! The festival will take place September 10-12. It is supporters of the arts like YOU that make this possible!
