Crossing Over was selected to be developed at the inaugural ASCAP New Musical Theater Grow a Show Workshop in the Johnny Carson Theater at the Lied Center for the Performing Arts the week of September 9, 2013. There were rehearsals, two readings and a distinguished panel (organized by ASCAPS’s Michael Kerker) that included Chad Beguelin, Mathew Sklar and Karen Morrow.

Deb and I did interviews or the Lincoln Journal Star and there was press in the Omaha paper too as well as interviews for a movie being made about the Festival. It was an incredibly exciting and magical week where we worked like crazy and the creative muses were alive and kicking. Many thanks to the amazing Nebraska team – Alisa Belflower, Becky Boesen and Petra Wahlqvist and their team and the very talented performers!
